Within the IT Operator, a d²X Expertise team has had the mission to define the strategy through processes (transversality, continuous improvement, etc ...).

Context

The ENEDIS IT operator is in charge of the running of the IT assets of the ENEDIS distributor. The MPS team of the IO-ENEDIS' general staff is organised around 4 main tasks :

  • the steering of ITIL processes,
  • the Transfer Support of Services,
  • the Assistance to Project Management for the applications,
  • the Operation Control : internal audits and the monthly reports.

Mission

Several d²X Expertise consultants intervene within the MPS team, with the aim of :

  • ensuring the transversality of the IO-ENEDIS' ITIL processes,
  • declining the strategy through the processes,
  • producing value around the processes,
  • organising the continuous improvement of the processes,
  • ensuring the interactions between the processes and tools.

Issues & Goals

The IT operator places great emphasis on its activity's industrialisation and has decided to implement several management processes, including incidents, problems, change catalogues, release management, capacity, configurations.

ITIL® has been selected by the operator in order to ensure efficient processes, compatible with the rapid growth of its activity and in line with the best practices.

The drivers within a same team have the aim to ensure the development of a common governance.

Benefits

The d²X team contributes in a well-known manner tonbsp;:

  • the standardising of practices between the different services of the operator, so much on methods than on tools,
  • the evolution of practices,
  • the progression of the operator's methods, by a continuous strategy of improvement based on maturity and efficiency audits,
  • ensure the change management through awareness sessions for the teams.
